Biography
Gaël Le Dréau joined Réseau Canopé in 2009, after having taught English for more than 15 years, with a particular interest in the educational uses of digital technology, the support of the most vulnerable pupils and the prevention of school failure.
At Réseau Canopé, he was in charge of the ICTE department of a departmental centre (Hauts-de-Seine) before joining the publishing department in 2011 where he was responsible for two institutional websites dedicated to language teaching.
In 2014, he was entrusted with the mission of developing the international activity of Réseau Canopé. He has held the positions of project manager (2014 to 2017), international delegate (2017 to 2022) and international director (since May 2022). His role consists in promoting Réseau Canopé's know-how (training, pedagogical, documentary, digital education engineering, etc.), setting up international partnerships and developing cooperation projects. He has set up and monitored cooperation projects with Haiti, Chad, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Niger, etc.
