Biography
Francis Bizoza Bigirimana, widely known as The African Travelling Teacher, is a passionate educator, social entrepreneur, and Pan-Africanist redefining education across Africa and works as a Community Engagement & Training Associate at Learning Equality. He empowers teachers and learners in underserved areas through relevant, tech-enabled learning rooted in African culture, history, and identity. He also leads Global Citizenship collaborations, connecting international and local African schools for joint student projects that foster cross-cultural learning and global problem-solving — all while travelling across the continent and sharing these stories on his YouTube channel to inspire broader impact.
Through story reading sessions, discussions, and hands-on projects, Francis not only educates but empowers students to act on critical issues like climate change. His work leaves a lasting impact, as local teachers continue guiding students to implement the projects he initiates.
Francis is more than an educator; he's a catalyst for change, inspiring a new generation to understand, appreciate, and harness the potential of Africa.
