Biography
Foster Ofosu is an economist with over 20 years experience in researching, teaching and practicing International Business and Innovation Management in Europe and Africa. He is currently an innovation and capacity development specialist at the African Development Bank (AfDB). Foster is an innovation and technology driver with entrepreneurial instincts and training, supporting creative initiatives inside and outside organisations. Within the AfDB, Foster has championed internal innovation by staff in organisational transformation and led various initiatives in providing support to innovators and entrepreneurs in Africa. As an educationist, he has coached and supported individuals and institutions in Africa in innovations and application of ICT in different sectors He is also the founder and Chief Excitement officer of Idea2Market Foundation, aimed at igniting and supporting innovative ideas to help tackle social and economic challenges in Africa. Foster has an insatiable passion for developing the capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa especially among the youth.
