Biography

Ferdinand Eruka is an EdTech leader, digital innovation strategist, and learning and development expert with over a decade of experience advancing education, leadership development, and youth-focused learning across Africa. Certified in Digital Skills for Entrepreneurs as a Trainer and Mentor, and in Nonprofit Leadership and Management, he brings a combination of technical expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, and human-centred innovation to the future of learning.

He currently serves as Learning Innovation and Technology Manager at LEAP Africa, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of learning, technology, and systems transformation. His work spans digital learning strategy, LMS governance and monetisation, learning analytics, platform optimisation, automation, and digital infrastructure, supporting organisations to enhance learner experiences and improve programme outcomes.

Ferdinand has contributed to major education and leadership initiatives across the continent, applying AI-enabled learning, eLearning systems, gamification, microlearning, and digital experience design to develop scalable solutions tailored to African contexts. As a consultant and advisor, he works with governments, nonprofits, and private sector organisations on EdTech strategy, instructional design, and digital transformation. He is also recognised for his thought leadership, regularly translating complex digital concepts into practical strategies that support inclusive and sustainable learning systems.
