Biography
Dr. Eva Esther Shalin Ebenezer is an esteemed Associate Professor, Strategic consultant, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Counsellor and Artificial Intelligence expert with a rich background in teaching computer science courses, business courses and conducting academic research. She is a Senior Member of IEEE and a founding member of IEEE Ghana section. She has held various positions in IEEE including Treasurer and Women in Engineering Chair. She is the recepient of the prestigious IEEE MGA award. She promotes STEM education for girls. Her research focuses on African context. Eva has served in the board of Project Management Institute of Ghana in various capacities including VP-Finance for two terms. Eva also excels in setting up business incubator and trains entrepreneurs. Eva has over thirty years of experience in the industry and academia. Teaching is her passion, Leading is her skill, Mentoring is her calling. She works as an Advisor to the President and Entrepreneurship Lead at International University of Grand Bassam. Eva lives in Africa for the past two decades but travels all around the world for conferences and trainings. Her practical pedagogy in teaching has been popular and hence trains many in that area. With her strong business background with two PhDs and a technically sound IT background with a Certified Professional status from Australian Computer Society makes her very popular among her peers, students, trainees and other stakeholders. Eva’s professional journey showcases her multifaceted skills. Currently she is working on Technology based sustainable ventures to promote agriculture through e-learning and smart mobile applications to benefit African farmers.
