Biography
Enzo Scarcella is the Chief Consumer Officer of MTN Group, with over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, marketing, strategy, operations, and customer service. He began his career at MTN South Africa in 1994 before building broader experience across consumer goods, media, and retail.
He returned to MTN South Africa in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing commercial operations including marketing, brand, communications, customer service, and sales. In 2019, he assumed his current Group-level role, leading consumer strategy across MTN markets.
Enzo is recognised as a leading marketer in Africa, including being named Marketing Person of the Year by the Sunday Times in 2012. He holds an honours degree from Harvard University and an advanced marketing diploma from Kellogg Business School.
