Biography
Ed Zarecor is the Vice President of Engineering for the Open edX project at Axim Collaborative. Ed has been a software engineer, architect and technology leader throughout his career with a focus on educational technology. He joined edX in 2012 and has worked on the open-source platform since it was released in 2013. As edX Head of Engineering, Ed oversaw a significant reinvigoration of the Open edX project starting in 2019, laying the groundwork for a more open and inclusive project, expanding opportunities for community participation. Ed currently serves as the Chair of the Open edX Technical Oversight Committee.
