Biography
Donnalee Donaldson is an organizational leader, instructional designer, trainer, education consultant, and podcaster. She has designed and launched education programs in Rwanda and Tanzania, trained teachers in Kenya, evaluated programs in South Africa, and assessed students in Burundi, the DRC, and Uganda. Her achievements in education have lead to recognition by both UNESCO and UNLEASH as an SDG4 expert and champion.
Donnalee is currently the Rwanda Country Director of Educate! There she co-designs and provides strategic leadership for programs reaching over 200,000 secondary students nationwide. She leads a team of 40 that supports the Ministry of Education's implementation of national curriculum reform. In prior roles, she was on the founding teams of both Rwanda's first blended learning school, and its first university in a refugee camp. A noted orator, Donnalee has been a speaker, panelist, and event host, at over 50 events in Jamaica, Kenya, Rwanda, Switzerland, and the USA.
