Biography
Daniel Agyapong is a Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana. He is also an SME and PBL trainer and researcher, with 80+ publications on small business strategy, SME financing, and circular business development. He holds a PhD (Management), PhD (Business Administration), MSc (Monitoring and Evaluation), MPhil (Finance), a Postgraduate Diploma (Entrepreneurship), a Professional Postgraduate Diploma (Marketing), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, Professional Postgraduate Diploma (Management) from the Institute of Professional Managers Association, UK; a Chartered Professional Administrator and a Chartered Management Consultant from the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultant, Ghana. He is the Provost (College of Humanities and Legal Studies) and served as Director (Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance), UCC. He is a Board Member (UCC Enterprises Limited). He has been involved in the implementation of the UNIDO Ghana Circular Economy Centre, Building Expertise and Training for Growth in the Consumer Goods and Food Processing Industry in Ghana Project; GIZ ComCashew; Switch Africa Green; Management of Electronic Waste in Ghana, International Virtual Academic Exchange; Participatory Appraisals for Competitive Advantage; Building Bridges Across Continents; the Partnership for Applied Sciences; and German-African University Partnership Platform for the Development of Entrepreneurs. Facilitated several workshops for the Cape Coast Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the DAAD Akademie Workshop, and the International Finance Corporation. Moreover, he has attended conferences on quality assurance (Tanzania), university-business (Ethiopia), Sustainable Development Goals (Kenya), and youth entrepreneurship (UK). Others are financing digital education (Germany), youth development (Zambia), innovations and entrepreneurship (Portugal), graduate employability (Rwanda), and educating tomorrow's leaders (Tanzania). He has been a visiting professor at the University of Cincinnati (USA), Tampere University (Finland), FH Munster University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
