Biography
Craig holds a Master of Science in Research (Distinction) from the University of Portsmouth and has recently completed his Doctorate on E-Learning's impact on teacher development. With 25 years of education experience in South Africa and England, including over a decade as a Principal, Craig has a proven track record in leading and managing education projects. As Executive Manager at JET Education Services, he has been instrumental in designing and implementing innovative E-Learning, AI and EdTech programmes in disadvantaged South African schools. Craig has shared his expertise through presentations at the Council of Europe Working Conference on AI and Education, the AIFOD Summit on AI and The Human Factor of AI Implementation conference as well as webinars focusing on AI and EdTech developments, contributing to international discourse on educational technology integration. His governance experience includes serving as a member of the Board of Governors at St Charles College, where he has provided strategic oversight and educational leadership. Craig is currently running a series of pilots across South Africa introducing an AI maths programme to resource constrained rural primary schools. His research focuses on the potential of EdTech and AI to influence educational practice and policy, demonstrated through his work in conceptualizing, designing and managing impactful education programmes that bridge the digital divide in South African education.
