Biography
Clement Uwajeneza, Managing Director at NewGlobe, where he spearheads the RwandaEQUIP program. This innovative program, backed by the Government of Rwanda, aims to transform the country's basic education system into a globally competitive system.
Clement's professional trajectory includes a pivotal role as the founding CEO of Irembo, where he led the digital transition of government services in Rwanda. Over a span of four years, this transformation brought over 80 government services online, benefiting an average of 2,000,000 Rwandans annually.
Clement's influence extends beyond his executive roles, as demonstrated by his active involvement with the Affiliate Network at Public Digital. As the Chairman of the Rwanda Chamber of ICT and a Board Member at RICTA, he has initiated and promoted initiatives that have played a significant role in unlocking the potential for digital entrepreneurship in Rwanda.
