Caroline Maitrot

Noman Education · France

Biography

A graduate of the Paris School of Business, Caroline spent 13 years with the Studyrama Group (a leading French group in the organisation of student fairs) where she held the position of Deputy Managing Director. She then moved to Sweden for 2 years, a country that is very advanced in digital education. There she was able to discover how beneficial digital tools were for learning, progressing and enriching her knowledge.
Coming from a rural background, she deeply believes in the crucial role of school in order to grow. Passionate about education, she intends to contribute to the educational revolution! She created Nomad Education in 2011, convinced that the mobile will play a major role in the way we learn and access knowledge.
Today, Nomad Education, an impact company and member of UNESCO's Global Education Coalition, supports nearly 2 million pupils and students around the world in their schooling, including more than 700,000 on the African continent.
Caroline Maitrot was named one of the 40 most influential French women of the year by Forbes magazine.
