Biography
Candice Sankarsingh is an international senior consultant with common-sense eLearning and training consultants GmbH. She is an instructional technologist with more than 15 years of professional experience executing eLearning and multimedia communications projects for the Global South.
In 2010, Ms Candice Sankarsingh was awarded a Foreign Fulbright Scholarship based on her action-research and development work in context-appropriate learning solutions for disenfranchised and marginalised populations in her native country of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2021, she authored the first online and open course on developing content with Adapt, an open-source authoring tool.
At eLearning Africa 2023, Candice Sankarsingh will showcase the results of learning design workshops featuring an open source authoring tool - Adapt and how it has been used to strengthen the adaptive capacities of existing personnel so that they can contemplate, design, develop and deliver their very own online courses. Also implemented by GIZ’s atingi project, common-sense’s approach to eLearning relies on collaborative engagement and proven design thinking and agile methodologies.
