Biography
Bruno is a passionate IT Manager at Gayaza High School. He has played key role in integration and implementation of ICT in the day to day administration, operations and learning. His passion for ICT is exhibited in his wide range of skills ranging from coding, film and video making, graphic design, photography and information management systems.
In addition to his duties, Bruno runs a technology club at the school where he engages his students in computer science related activities such as website design, robotics, mobile app, 3D printing and basic programming using open source tools not limited to scratch, app inventor and python.
He is currently developing a web based learning and gaming platform with specific focus on disadvantaged learners and adults who may not have had an opportunity to attend a regular school. The game based module of the platform will engage students in educational related content and other fun content not limited to general knowledge, society, history, science, math to entertainment and general knowledge.
During his free time he shares his knowledge through ICT training workshops during the school holiday to staff and community where he shares practical knowledge in working with computers not limited to use of office applications and internet.
