Biography

Dr Bridget Longla is an Inclusive Education Adviser with the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) and an Inclusive Education Consultant with CBM International. She has extensive experience in teaching at secondary school level, supporting inclusive education programmes across Cameroon, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with expertise in Universal Design for Learning, disability-inclusive pedagogy, and accessible digital content development. Dr Longla currently leads the development and rollout of Cameroon’s first inclusive digital library for learners with visual impairments. Her work integrates research, policy advocacy, and innovation to advance equitable learning opportunities for children with disabilities in low-resource settings.
