Biography
Benno Kreuels is head of clinical teaching at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine and consultant for internal medicine and tropical medicine at the University Medical Centre Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany. He is also honorary lecturer in the department of medicine at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences in Blantyre, Malawi.
His main interests are clinical teaching in infectious diseases, tropical medicine and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) using a blended learning approach. He has several years of experience in conducting online teaching using Zoom, WebEx, Moodle, Mentimeter and other eLearning applications.
