Biography

Ariam Mogos is the learning lead for UNICEF's Office of Innovation, an interdisciplinary team of individuals around the world tasked with identifying, prototyping, and scaling technologies and practices that strengthen UNICEF’s work for children. Prior to that she founded the Nairobi Play Project, a global peace-building initiative which harnesses game design, storytelling and computational thinking to create experiential learning opportunities and promote local integration for refugees and migrants. Ariam has also led digital learning for the State Department’s TechGirls MENA program, Global Kids and the American Museum of Natural History’s Center for Science Literacy, Education and Technology.
