Biography

Ann Aseye Ama Donya is a Ghanaian law student, researcher, debater, and youth advocate with experience in leadership, public speaking, legal research, and policy engagement. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Law at the University of Ghana, where she has distinguished herself through academic excellence, moot court advocacy, and participation in international debate competitions.

She currently serves as Policy Advisor for Gender Equity and Social Inclusion at the All-Africa Students Union (AASU), contributing to continental discussions on inclusion, student empowerment, and equitable access to education and leadership opportunities for young people across Africa.

Ann has participated in initiatives including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the Inter-Firm Moot Court Competition, and the Academic Freedom Project on tertiary education in Ghana. She is also actively involved in debate and public speaking through leadership and training roles within Speech Forces Organization, representing both Ghana and the University of Ghana in debate championships across Africa and the Commonwealth. Her work reflects a strong commitment to education, advocacy, gender equity, and youth participation in governance and policy processes.
