Biography
Ana Barfield leads the Aga Khan Foundation's Global Practice, which aims to build the skills of development practitioners, including staff, partners, and communities. In this role, Ana has led the development of The Learning Hub, a platform hosting hundreds of learning resources in 25 languages, and has provided capacity development in blended learning to partners across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Ana previously led curriculum development for Hewlett-Packard’s Micro-Enterprise Acceleration Institute, which were delivered in 300+ training centres across 48 countries. Ana was also the Learning Solutions Product Manager for The Demos Group, a European leader in professional training and continuing education.
Ana holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, USA, where she was a Davis United World College scholar.
Ana speaks English, Serbian, French, Russian, Spanish and Mandarin.
