Biography

Amos Mfitundinda is an experienced Learning Development Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry and Academia. He is highly skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Policy Analysis, Analytical Skills, and Coaching. He is a strong community and social services professional with a bachelor’s and master’s degrees focused on Organizational Studies and Public Management from Makerere University.

As a Sector Capacity Building Analyst in Rwanda Development Board (RDB) in Rwanda, Amos is in charge of analysing Government Priority areas and harmonizing them with Capacity Development needs for both Private and Public Sector interventions. His main tasks include coordination of Institutional/Individual and Organizational Capacity Building priorities; coordination of skills assessment; follow up of training for Public, Private and civil society beneficiaries; dissemination of training opportunities from Development partners (DPs); resource mobilization for capacity building interventions; and the analysis of Government Development Interventions vis a vis Human Capital Development.

Amos is also responsible of staff recruitment and Talent Development. He is also the team leader of implementation of pillar 1 of the National Skills Development and Employment Promotion Strategy (NSDEPS).

Amos is also chair of RPF RDB special cell, sub-committee of welfare, in charge of ensuring that Rwandans do not lead a life of want, providing equal opportunities for all, uplifting vulnerable groups, and improving policies of saving, among others. He also sits on the Board of Kigali Public Library an institution that promotes the culture of reading and writing in the Rwanda society.
