Biography

Alexandra Bohra is a teaching and research assistant at the Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences. She has been actively involved at regional, national and international levels promoting the potentials and cooperation perspectives of African countries.

Alexandra Bohra is currently doing a PhD in the field of Vocational and Educational Training in construction trades. The aim of her research is to increase the quality of current VET curricula in order to create jobs in West Africa. She is also currently working on the establishment of a competence centre and eLearning platform for construction industry actors.

To facilitate the learning of cognitively demanding and complex topics in the classroom, eLearning Africa 2023 attendees who participate in her workshop will take on the role of the learner and explore game-based learning methods first-hand.
