Biography
Aleesha Boolaky is currently an academic in Statistics and Finance at the University of Technology Mauritius(UTM). She joined UTM in 2008 after pursuing her higher studies and working as a tutor at the Université Louis Pasteur Strasbourg, France. She has conducted research in the areas of auction and trading, stock market efficiency, financial risk management, as well as the internationalization of higher education.
Her current research interests centers around Community Based Learning and Research including social impact investing, service learning, financial and digital literacy. She is currently involved in the development of online platforms for financial and digital education of entrepreneurs.
