Adwoa Wiafe

Biography

Adwoa Wiafe is a C-suite executive with broad and deep experience across legal, regulatory, governance, sustainability, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement, spanning the telecommunications, energy, public sector, and international arenas.

She currently serves as Chief Corporate Services & Sustainability Officer at MTN Ghana, with executive responsibility for Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Communications, Sustainability, and enterprisewide stakeholder engagement. She is also Executive Director and a Board Member of the MTN Foundation, where she guides impactful social investments in health, education, economic empowerment, and digital inclusion, aligned with national development priorities.

Her career spans the telecommunications and energy sectors, the public sector, and international institutions, where she has advised executives and governments on complex regulatory, policy, and commercial matters. She has strong expertise in government relations, regulatory engagement, advocacy, crisis communications, and reputation management.

She is passionate about embedding sustainability and good governance into organisational culture to drive longterm value, while mentoring the next generation of leaders and advancing opportunities for women, youth, and marginalised communities.
