Biography
Abeer Alyazji is an Expert in Skills and Decent Employment at Enabel, where she works at the intersection of skills development, employment systems, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation. She currently represents the Digital for Development Hub as Coordinator of the Digital Skills Working Group, supporting cross-country collaboration and knowledge exchange to advance inclusive digital skills ecosystems and future-oriented workforce development approaches.
With more than 15 years of experience across international development, higher education, entrepreneurship, and youth economic empowerment, Abeer has worked with organizations including United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Enabel, universities, and innovation ecosystems in Palestine, Belgium, and the United States. Her expertise spans programme design and implementation, work-based learning, private sector engagement, digital employment, and inclusive economic empowerment initiatives.
Abeer holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Fairleigh Dickinson University through the Fulbright Program, and has led and contributed to initiatives supporting youth leadership, entrepreneurship, AI-enabled employment solutions, and digital inclusion for vulnerable and displaced populations. She brings a practical, partnership-driven perspective to designing scalable skills and employment solutions with measurable impact.
