Biography
Abdoul Alpha Dia holds a doctorate in economics (specialising in educational economics).
Since 2013, he has been a teacher-researcher at the Cheikh Hamidou Kane Digital University (UN-CHK, formerly UVS). Between 2013 and 2021, he was Director of Studies, Research and Innovation. Since 2021, he has been in charge of the FCC Component (Training for Skills Certificates) within the FORCE-N Programme ("Open Training to Strengthen Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship in the Digital Sector"), set up by the UN-CHK with financial support from the Mastercard Foundation.
Abdoul Alpha DIA is the author of a number of scientific works on the financing of education, the impact of human capital, the match between training and employment, research and innovation, digital education and entrepreneurship. He is also the author of several books ("L'École du Futur", L'Harmattan, 2016; "Inégalités économiques et systèmes des inégalités au Sénégal", L'Harmattan, 2018) and has contributed to several collective works.
Abdoul Alpha DIA is the national coordinator for Senegal of ERNWACA (Educational Research Network for West and Central Africa).
