Biography
Paula Morais is the co-founder of Global Plenitude, a market creating innovation oriented organisation, working in the intersection between digitalization, human/planetary centred design, policy and ethics.
She is the Team Lead for atingi.org, a BMZ flagship project on digitalisation and digital learning, led by GIZ, on behalf of the consortium GOPA/common sense.
Paula works as an international leader and advisor on openness, namely open innovation, open education, open research, open data, digital learning, digitalization and ethics in Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Europe, Latin America Middle East, North America, with a strong focus on ownership, sustainability and scalability.
She has been working with the European Union, UNDP, International Telecommunications Union, World Wide Web Foundation, GIZ, Governments and Higher Education Institutions, among others.
Paula will be leading a session on the ethical implications of using Artificial Intelligence, Chatgpt and Data analytics in general, and in the education sector, in particular. You can expect a lively session with a lot of interaction and questioning.
