Biography
Joel Bato is a teacher at Gayaza high School with a 6 year teaching experience in Technical Drawing and an ICT in education enthusiast especially in the area of video creation. He is also passionate about working with young people especially in project based activities some of which include, “A school Technology Studio as a Driver of ICT Integration in Education.” which mainly involves engaging students in creating peer teaching video resources to help boost Academic Excellence among fellow students. He is also an educator in the Adobe Youth Voices Program for the past 6 years where they work with youth to create media with a purpose. Joel in 2011 was an award winner in the Microsoft partners in learning Middle East and Africa forum, which enabled him to take part in the Microsoft Partners in Learning Global Forum held later that year in Washington DC. From 2013, he became a lead Educator in the Adobe Youth Voices Program where he supports upcoming educators in guiding their youth to produce media with a purpose. Find more of what he does at
