Biography
Daniel Kwaku Ganyoame is a seasoned EdTech and social innovation leader with over 15 years of experience designing and implementing transformative technology and education programs across Africa. He is the Executive Director of Africa ICT Right (AiR), a Ghana-based nonprofit that empowers underserved communities through inclusive STEM, digital literacy, and AI-driven learning initiatives. Daniel’s work focuses on leveraging AI and education technology to bridge systemic gaps in teacher professional development, youth employability, and gender inclusion in STEM. Under his leadership, AiR has impacted over 120,000 students and teachers, equipped more than 140 schools with digital infrastructure, and pioneered community-based models for teacher upskilling in low-resource settings. He is a UNLEASH SDG Talent, YALI Fellow, HundrED Ambassador, and 2020 World Literacy Foundation Ambassador, recognized for his contributions to inclusive education and digital equity. Daniel brings deep expertise in project-based learning, AI for social good, and designing localized EdTech solutions that work in bandwidth-constrained environments. As a frequent speaker and panelist, Daniel has shared insights at international forums across Africa, Europe, and Asia on the intersection of technology, education, and social change. He is passionate about co-creating learning ecosystems where teachers are not only digitally literate, but also confident, collaborative, and future-ready.
