Biography
Dr Corrin Varady is a published author, academic and edutech entrepreneur. He has two Masters degrees (Bocconi School of Economics/UNSW and LSE) with First Class Honours and a PhD at the London School of Economics in 2015 and has been an Australia Day Ambassador. Dr Varady currently works for African Digital Content Holdings and is Managing Director of IDEA South Africa both being digital education companies established to create and deliver self-paced, personalised, interactive content for students and teachers in Africa and the Middle East. IDEA is partnered with the South African Council or Educators and the Western Cape Department of Education in delivering Grades R-12 STEM Content for learners and accredited digital education training materials for teachers. Dr Varady also featured in the international documentary, “The Road to Freedom Peak”, which was received with critical acclaim, first premiering on Fox and is currently available on Netflix.
