Robin Miller – Dalberg Partner and Expert Advisor
Robin is a Partner with Dalberg, where she leads the firm’s Global Technology Practice. For over 15 years her work has focused on ICT strategy, access to finance, global health and institutional strategy across Sub-Saharan Africa. Robin has recently worked with Microsoft, Google, the World Bank, the Nigerian Office of the President, South Africa’s National ICT Investment Group and institutional investors on issues including ICT investment strategy, design and development of new technology ventures, organizational reform and performance evaluation.
Prior to joining Dalberg, Robin co-founded the Praekelt Foundation, an African mobile technology incubator that designs and deploys innovative solutions focused on health, economic development and education. Praekelt Foundation was recently named one of the Most Innovative Companies in Africa by Fast Company has deployed its services across more than 30 countries in Africa, including, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria and works with leading companies, governments and development partners including the Gates Foundation, Facebook, MTN, Vodacom, USAID, the Omidyar Network and others. Robin has lived and worked in Sub-Saharan Africa for over a decade and also draws on her global experience across Europe, Asia and North America. She holds an Honors degree in Economics and Business Management from Boston College.
