Biography
Lina Rujweka, a seasoned computer science professional with over 13 years of invaluable experience in the tech industry. She is the Head of ICT Unit in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and currently steering the helm of Edutech Strategy in the Ministry in alignment with the new National Education Policy and Curriculum. She is a Computer Science graduate from University of Dar es Salaam and succeeded to secure an award from the University of Manchester in 2016-2017 to pursue her Masters’ studies in Advanced Computer Science, specialised in Computer Security.
Lina’s career has been marked by a relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence. Her expertise extends from computer scientist specialised in cybersecurity to IT governance, business process automation, project management and strategic planning contributing significantly to the intersection of technology and education.
