Biography
Dr. Pinkerton has worked in the United States and Namibia with over a decade of experience in the education field. She has her bachelors in Secondary English Education, masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Differentiation, and her doctorate in English Pedagogy and Literacy. Dr. Pinkerton works at the Directorate of Education, Arts, and Culture in Namibia as the Senior Education Officer for English, grades 4-12. Her position is tasked with the management of all English teachers in the Kavango West Region, as well as the evaluation and creation of curriculum and other resources. Dr. Pinkerton is passionate about literacy acquisition for all, and is adament about continued research in identifying best practice solutions that yields a lifetime worth of skills for all learners.
