Biography
Jean Marie Vianney held different positions in private and non-profit organizations in Rwanda. He is deeply passionate about youth employment and he is an energetic trainer.
He is currently the Director of Careers and Alumni Affairs at Kepler, an innovative university program serving vulnerable students in East Africa who would otherwise struggle to or not afford university education. He is passionate about education and students’ transition to employment upon graduation. Since 2017, he leads the Kepler Careers department to strive for students’ employment and as a result, more than 90% of Kepler graduates get jobs within six months after graduation.
Prior to Kepler, Jean Marie Vianney worked at the Private Sector Federation, Chamber of Agriculture, where he trained around 100 farmers on post-harvest handling of maize. He also volunteered at the Agriculture Technology Demonstration Center, working with 75 women to fight against malnutrition through mushroom production and consumption.
