Biography

Ishana Gangaram is an Instructional Designer at the University of KwaZulu Natal. She obtained her BA Communications (UNISA, 2003), BA Hons Industrial Psychology (UNISA, 2005), Master in Higher Education (UKZN, 2019) and is currently a PhD candidate.

She has a keen interest in Health Professions Education and involves herself in providing support to projects related to Inter Professional Practice Education, Extended Community Health Outreach and the development of a digital feedback tool. Currently, she is focused on technology-enhanced learning through communities of practice in health professions and curriculum transformation in the digital era.

At eLearning Africa 2023, Ishana Gangaram will talk about her role as Instructional Designer and how she has traversed the road from theory to practice performing the mammoth task of accelerating digital transformation of curricula.
