Biography

Daniel Obeng Atuah is a professional with expertise in data analytics, e-learning administration, digital skills training, and IT support. He serves as a Senior Technician at the KNUST E-Learning Centre, working within the Proctor and Online Assessment Unit, where he supports the coordination of online examinations, development of assessment workflows, and preparation of strategic reports to improve academic operations. Daniel also contributes to strengthening data security, optimizing administrative systems, and facilitating efficient collaboration across academic units. Daniel holds an MSc in Business & Data Analytics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He also earned a BSc in Actuarial Science from the same institution. His professional experience spans research administration, IT support, marketing, and insurance underwriting, having worked with Corporate Trust Insurance Brokers Limited, KNUST Hospital, and Glico Insurance. Across these roles, Daniel has built strong competencies in data-driven analysis, risk assessment, system diagnostics, and stakeholder communication. Daniel has contributed to several capacity-building and digital transformation projects. He served as Project Administrator for the Digital Tools for Skills in Research (DT4SiR) initiative and as an E-Coach for the E-Portfolio Development and Soft Skills Training Program under the ACCESS KNUST initiative. He also worked as Technical Consultant for the TEKSmartest Competition 2025, supporting the integration of digital tools, AI, and robotics into student learning experiences. He is a recipient of the Best Poster Presentation Award at the 2024 E-Learning International Conference and has presented research on digital learning ecosystems, administrative digitization, and sustainability in education at national and international conferences. Daniel is a member of the Internet Society Ghana Chapter. His professional interests include data science, cybersecurity, e-learning innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable logistics, and he enjoys football and music outside of work.
