Biography
Professor Bismark Agbemble is currently US Embassy in Uganda English Language Fellow visiting scholar from Liberty University USA. For nearly 15 years Prof. Bismark as contributed to global discourse on transforming Africa’s educational system from Theorical to Project Base Learning (Practical) in order to equip both students and teachers with 21st century skills in the area of Learning skills, Literacy Skills, Life Skills. Prof. Bismark brings to education his diverse experience from the private sector as an investment banker, turned educationalist in order to bridge the gap between industrial and education. His passionate about incorporating digital literacy tools into instructional delivery because he believes the incorporation of technology into education is one of the greatest tools in providing access to quality education.
Prof. Bismark is a subject matter expert in the following areas: Project Base Learning- Educational Frameworks, Edu-Tech, Social-Educational Economics, Public Policy in Education and Educational Leadership Skills Development. Prof. Bismark promotes student center learning pedagogy frameworks with practical technological and innovative instructional delivery methods throughout his publications, lectures and workshops.
He began his professional career at Bank of America, where he was Vice President of its retail banking division in Philadelphia. In 2012 his was founding partner of Plugin Corporation an investment firm focused on developing educational products and services to improve digital literacy, digital security and entrepreneur skills training. In 2017, he went back to first love to become an educator and a policy analyst when he became a Lecturer at Southern New Hampshire University and Interned at the United States Senate.
Prof. Bismark holds Post Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from Harvard University, MBA from Eastern University with a concentration in Financial Engineering and Bachelors of Science in Economics from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University in Public Policy focusing on Educational Leadership. In his own words “Be IMPACTFUL-Be Phenomenal.”
