Biography
Arnaud Pourredon studied medicine at the University of Bordeaux (France) and cofounded Meditect.
In 2015, he participated in a humanitarian mission in Nepal after the earthquakes where he was delivering medicines. Many of them were counterfeited. He was shocked because falsified medicines kill one million persons each year according to WHO.
As a result, he founded Meditect, a solution to ensure the traceability of medicines using Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence for Africa. Thanks to an application available on smartphones, patients and health professionals can verify if the medicine is genuine or not in a few seconds.
