Biography
Alexander Glosenberg is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He concentrates his research on psychological approaches to facilitating the empowerment and success of workers, especially entrepreneurs, from marginalized populations. Alex has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, case studies, and book chapters on topics relating to entrepreneurship, psychology, technology, and global development in such venues as the Journal of Vocational Behavior, Scientific Reports, and the Journal of Business Venturing Insights. He has worked on applied research projects with diverse groups including North Korean refugee entrepreneurs, BIPOC entrepreneurs, and with entrepreneurs across the African continent. Alex is on the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior and has consulted with a wide array of organizations including the United Nations Development Programme and the White House Social and Behavioral Sciences Team.
