Biography
Dr Abdul Hamid Kwarteng is a distinguished academic and senior administrator with expertise in Management, International Law, and Social Policy. He currently serves as the Vice President, Registrar, and Senior Lecturer at Nobel International Business School (NiBS University) in Accra, Ghana. Holding a Ph.D. in Management and International Law, Dr. Kwarteng combines scholarly excellence with extensive leadership and policy experience drawn from both governmental and nongovernmental sectors. With over a decade of experience in higher education, he has supervised and successfully graduated more than fifteen Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) candidates and five PhD students. His mentoring work reflects a strong commitment to developing future scholars and business leaders. In recognition of his academic standing, Dr. Kwarteng serves as a peer reviewer for several leading international journals, including Strategy & Leadership and the Journal of Strategy and Management. Dr. Kwarteng’s research interests lie at the intersection of strategic management, leadership, organizational justice, gender equity, and social policy. He has published extensively in internationally indexed journals, with notable recent works such as Achieving Banking Industry Innovation Performance Using Total Quality Management: An Empirical Study (The TQM Journal, 2025), Leader-turn-Follower: An Opportunity for Cooperation or Sabotage? (Strategy & Leadership, 2025), and Unveiling the Glass Ceiling Phenomenon and Mitigating Strategies through DR. ABDUL HAMID KWARTENG 2 Organizational Justice (Cogent Business & Management, 2024). His scholarly contributions extend to earlier influential papers in The Journal of Politics and Law and the Asian Research Journal of Arts & Social Sciences. In addition to his journal publications, Dr. Kwarteng is the author of several academic books, including Introduction to International Law: The Beginner’s Guide, The Reality of Judicial Decision-Making: The Legal Realist View, and Ensuring International Refugee Laws in Egyeikrom Refugee Camp in Ghana. His works have been widely cited for their insightful integration of law.
