Teresa Fuchs

Biography

Teresa Fuchs has a long-standing career in the publishing industry. For the last 25 years Teresa has headed up the Cengage team in South and Sub-Saharan Africa who publish a diverse range of high quality learning content and solutions for courses in tertiary education. Teresa has also worked for McGraw Hill and Addison-Wesley.

Teresa is passionate about Education and thrives on extensively coaching her team to provide the best outcomes and solutions both for students and lecturers. She enjoys following trends in technology and has an avid interest in digital solutions and how they impact higher education. Teresa has recently been liaising with the Cengage EMEA team who commissioned an extensive Market Research project "Student Voices", conducted to understand what students want to achieve on their course, how they prefer to study/learn, what they think they need to do to achieve their goals and their attitude towards digital resources.
