Rik Vanden Berk

Biography

He graduated in 1969 as an industrial engineer. Led 4 years a study agency and was then responsible for the startup and management of computer science at a construction company. In 1984 he founded his own multimedia company for the production of laser discs for training and education. Derivative activities were the building of an exchange database for real estate and the creation of computer-based training packages. Afterwards, he developed his own e-learning environment. For 4 years he led a number of foreign masters in creating e-learning packages. Here he felt the need for sustainalility in training and coaching and he shifted his focus to the training needs in Africa. Through his travels and participation in trade fairs in this continent, he has developed a serious network of managers in the training sector. Now he is acting as a consultant for Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs. Meanwhile he is still working on implementing the e-technology for training trainers in the South.
