Biography
Resty Kamya Mwogeza is an educational technologist with 14 years’ experience in ICT for education.
She has worked, at Uganda Management Institute, since 2012 as a Consultant at the Distance Learning Department, setting up eLearning programmes for a sustainable National management capacity. She worked with the Ministry of Health, where, as a Project Officer for Continuous Professional Development on the Belgium Technical cooperation (BTC) Institutional Capacity Building project aided the transformation process of the Health Manpower Development Center (HMDC) to semi-autonomous status and gave direction to the development of eLearning; as an Educational ICT consultant with Tera Nuova in Somalia, designing eLearning systems for a sustainable Livestock industry; as a United Nations Volunteer(UNV) , bridging the digital divide in Nigeria and with the Ministry of Education in Uganda, she pioneered the introduction of Science subjects at Advanced level of education in a rural school using virtual labs.
