Patricia Gores

Biography

Patricia is the Co-founder of Invest in Africa Now!, a private company aiming at matching project promoters based in Africa and investors worldwide using a comprehensive approach from scoping of interventions till investor feedback, through the organisation of investor meetings and other events and activities. Invest in Africa now offers state of the art tools, including a geographical investment platform and a knowledge investment platform.

Patricia holds a degree in Political Sciences by the University of Bordeaux, France; a Master Degree in European Studies by the University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium and a Postgraduate in Journalism and Media by the London School of Journalism.  She has a great experience in the field of communication and visibility, with more than 12 years’ experience as communication officer of several programmes and projects related to co-operation and development in ACP Countries and Africa, such as the ACP Business Climate Facility; a programme of the ACP Secretariat funded by the European Development Fund. 

She has a strong experience in developing and implementing communication and visibility strategies relating to private sector development- liaising with European and African media and journalists- as well as in project management, notably business process management for the implementation of visibility and communication activities in the context of EU-funded projects.
