Biography
Nathalie N’GUESSAN is a French as a Foreign Language Lecturer at Ashesi University in Ghana. She holds a Higher Diploma in Management and a Commercial Engineer Diploma, both from the University of Commercial Engineers in Abidjan, as well as a DAMOCE which is a Diploma in the Management of Language Institutes, from the International Center for Pedagogy Studies in Paris. Nathalie N’GUESSAN also has a Bachelor of Foreign Languages, Literature and Civilization (English) and Masters in Language Pedagogy (specializing in French as a Foreign Language) both from the University of Angers where she is also perusing PhD.
She worked in the air transport industry across Africa, including training, logistics and management, for over 20 years prior to following her passion into the field of French literature and French as a foreign language instruction. She has taught French as a Foreign Language, French for Tourism and French for Health Workers.
Her research areas of interest include: language pedagogy, learning through games, learning through creative writing and learning through the task orientated method.
She has designed two Mobile Apps to learn French as a foreign languages designed specifically for a public of Ghanaian teenagers and another one for Ghanaian health workers.
She is also a novelist.
