Biography
Moustapha is a digital industry professional with 3 years and 10 months of experience in the field. Currently, he serves as the StratUp Growth Lead at the International Trade Centre since December 2021. In this role, his responsibilities include driving the growth of startups and implementing activities related to promoting entrepreneurship.
Prior to this, he worked as an Associate for Start-Up Relations and Engagement with the NTF IV Program in Senegal. The fourth Netherlands Trust Fund Programme (NTF IV) aimed to support the development of the local IT/ITES sector in Senegal. As an Associate, he was responsible for startup follow-up, supporting activity implementation, and identifying potential investors across Africa.
Previously, he held the position of Business Developer Manager at Siamois-IT, a startup specializing in mobile payment aggregator solutions. In this role, he oversaw the commercial development of billing solutions, supervised the commercial and strategic plan, and implemented banking and local mobile operator solutions.
Moustapha also gained experience as a Sales Business Development professional at Little Sun SARL, a company focused on manufacturing and selling solar lamps. His responsibilities included developing marketing penetration strategies for the Senegalese market, implementing direct marketing and consumer approaches, and devising effective business strategies for rural areas in partnership with local organizations.
In addition, he has a background in finance, having worked as a Trainee at the Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole du Sénégal (CNCAS). During his time there, he conducted monthly bank reconciliations, managed transfer orders, and performed various accounting operations. He also served as a Team Manager at GOST BPO Group, overseeing production monitoring, recruitment management, and knowledgebase development.
Moustapha holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Engineering from the Institut Supérieur de Management, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Université Laval.
