Biography
My name is Ocen Moses from Lango sub-region Northern part of Uganda, am currently working with Sankofa café Lira Branch as computer administrator. And also a member of Barr ICT Youth Network Association (BIYNA).ICT & Media has attracted area of interest as the project was brought by War Child Holland due to insurgency in Northern Uganda which lasted for over 20 years in Northern Uganda.
ICT has become an integral and accepted part of everyday life for many people. ICT is increasing in importance in people’s lives and it is expected that this trend will continue, to the extent that ICT literacy will become a functional requirement for people’s work, social, and personal lives. Congratulations to War Child Holland for the very important project of ICT and Media which transformed the life style of youth across the world the world.
I would wish to also use ICT & Media to change the life of people especially Youth who have been affected by war positively after discovering that ICT & Media can be use in peace building, and also another way of bringing youth together from different parts of the countries to share their experiences as well as continuous learning through online and e-learning program.
