Biography
Miriam Ruiz is the Executive Director of Avallain Foundation. After working in the publishing industry in the United Kingdom, Miriam engaged with Avallain 7 years ago to work on various education projects in Kenya using high-end technology to take education to those who need it most like primary school children, farmers or young mothers in challenging conditions. After the founding of Avallain Foundation 2 years ago, Miriam has continued to engage in innovative projects using ICT to provide basic skills to the refugee community in Kakuma and the immigrant community in New York City.
