Biography
Marcela Amaral is an ELT Coordinator at ETS Global for EMEA. She was born in Brazil and is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She has previously worked for the TOEFL iBT program and as Educational Adviser for the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program in Brazil. She has over seven years of experience teaching English from primary to university in Brazil. She holds a Master’s in Linguistics from the State University in Rio de Janeiro, where she investigated language characteristics on Twitter. Her main areas of interest are teacher development, internationalization, and the use of technology in the ELT classroom.
