Biography
Marcel Hertel is an Advisor for GIZ with 4 years of experience working in the area of TVET and Labour Market Interventions. Based in Kigali, Rwanda, he specialises in advising Rwandan public institutions in generating and analysing labour market information and statistics, as well as improving TVET delivery on a broader institutional and system level. A special focus of his work is promoting digitalisation in the Rwandan TVET sector and the establishment of digital learning formats. His goal is to equip every TVET Trainer in Rwanda with basic digital literacy and e-teaching skills. Marcel Hertel holds a double degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics of the Goethe University of Frankfurt, Germany.
