Louis-Neil Korsten

Biography

Louis-Neil Korsten is a South African tech entrepreneur who’s completed undergraduate degrees in three different sectors, business, law, and computer science. He understands and has experienced firsthand, the problems that traditional education models, such as universities, face in this new age of technology.

He has co-owned a tutoring company that specialised in mathematics and science tutoring and had branches nationwide. He then found his passion for education and realised that Africa needs access to education if it is to stake its claim as a continent that can compete on the world stage.

So, he founded Bookt, along with his longtime friend and co-founder Warren Janisch. Bookt is an EdTech startup that turns books into a recognised form of education by certifying the knowledge you gain from reading.
